Why we built it
Planning a trip is mostly coordination
Most travel goes wrong in the gaps: a guide recommended by someone who never met them, an agency quote that changes after you commit, an itinerary spread across five chat threads, and a budget nobody tracks until the trip is over.
TripMate closes those gaps. Guides and agencies are checked before they are listed. Reviews come only from completed bookings. Itineraries live in one place everyone can see. Budgets compare what you planned against what you actually spent.
What we will not do
- Show reviews from people who never booked
- List a guide or agency before checking their documents
- Hide cancellation terms until after payment
- Pretend an estimate is a guaranteed price
